Krishnan Tennis Centre (KTC) was founded in 1995 by Ramesh Krishnan and his father, Ramanathan Krishnan. It represents continuity in a long and on-going tennis tradition. The Krishnans have been champions for over three generations, from the 1930s until the 1990s. They have seen tennis techniques change and develop over the years. Now, this expertise is being passed on to a new generation of players, eager to learn the game and enjoy it as recreation or to compete. At KTC, commitment to the sport is total. Excellent tennis facilities are complemented by an involved and committed coaching staff With emphasis on physical fitness and all round development, children are encouraged to learn that hard work can be fun. Gayatri Krishnan holds an advisory role for the tennis program. She has impressive tennis and academic accomplishments to her credit and has been coached by her father, Ramesh Krishnan. Since 2018, the coaching and day to day operations of KTC is under Coach Rajiv Naidu. Rajiv has over 30 years of experience coaching tennis players who have competed at the National and International levels. Passionate and committed to the sport, Rajiv’s coaching entity – Match Point Tennis Academy is responsible for the coaching program at KTC.
