Waltair Club has become the most sought-after club in Visakhapatnam. Established in 1883 by the officers of the erstwhile East Coast Railway, East Coast Battalion and other Civilian officers stationed in the port city, Waltair Club caters to the elite of Visakhapatnam. Its prestigious members include top officials, business entrepreneurs, executives of corporate houses and defence service officers. With its old-world charm, world-class infrastructure and affiliation with other elite clubs around India, there is always a demand for membership at our club. Waltair Club boasts of exclusive Billiards rooms for both ladies and gents. Earlier, ladies were not permitted into the Billiards Room, which was strictly for men only. Later Mr. A.V. Bhanoji Row presented a Billiards Table to the Club which was placed in another room for the use of ladies.
