Telangana State Table Tennis Association (TSTTA) was formed in 2014 post the formation of the new State of Telangana. Currently, the TSTTA is headed by President. Mr. A. Narasimha Reddy and Secretary Mr. P.Prakash Raju. TSTTA will be engaging in promoting Table Tennis in various districts of the state through affiliated District Associations/Academies & clubs. Regular state ranking tournaments will be organized for the players competing at the State & National level. As part of promotion of the game, TSTTA will be organizing coaching camps and conducting tournament at various levels. Telangana State has the privilege of producing National and International players. Mir Kasim Ali, former National Champion and the Arjuna Awardee in Table Tennis. He is also the finalist in Common Wealth Table Tennis Championship prior to 1970s. Later G. Jitender, Shubham Sharma were part of the Indian Team which participated in World Championships and various other International tournaments. Currently, Nikhat Banu, Naina, A Sreeja, SFR Snehit, V S Hari Krishna have been representing India at various International Championships and keeping our flag flying high. We also have International Coaches & Umpires assisting at various National and International events. We are proud to have International players, Coaches & Technical officials and we expect to see some more players in coming years.
