CFHCA was conceived and inaugurated by H.E., Lt. Gen. J.F.R. Jacob, PVSM (Retd.), by the then Governor of Punjab and Administrator U.T. Chandigarh Football, Hockey & Cricket Academy is a high-end sports club that is located at Sector 42 in Chandigarh. It was established as a result of the initiative taken by the administrator of Chandigarh with the aim to groom fresh and upcoming talent in the disciplines of football and hockey in this region. Offering world-class facilities to its members and other students who undertake coaching here, the students here are enrolled into the various courses only after they clear the entrance exams. With a well-maintained swimming pool and a gym with state-of-the-art infrastructure, Chandigarh Football & Hockey Academy remains open daily except on the weekends from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. This academy also houses a cafeteria and a restaurant.
