Negi Taekwondo India Private Limited came into existence on 12 November 2019. Earlier the company was active under the name of Negi Taekwondo Tigers International Academy. Negi Taekwondo Tigers International Academy has been active in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali since 2001. Its founder is Satyapal Singh Negi, who is originally a resident of village – Balyuli, Puri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. After graduating from Hemwati Nandan Garhwal University in 2002, he started taking training of taekwondo from Coach Mr. Rajesh Singh Negi in Chandigarh. Passed black belt from Kukkiwan in 2005. As a player from 2002 to 2007, he participated in many national competitions from Chandigarh state and won medals. In 2013.
He was the coach of women players of Punjab University. That year, the women’s team of Punjab University came second in All India. He was a Chandigarh State Coach from 2007 to 2013.
During this time the players of Chandigarh won many medals at the national level.Mr. Satyapal Singh Negi started his international coach journey from 2013. Which started with the Indo-Nepal international competition in Nepal.Mr. Satyapal Singh Negi has led the Indian team in many international competitions since 2013.He has led the Indian team 5 times in South Korea, 4 times Thailand, 3 times in Malaysia and 1 time in Canada. Mr. Satyapal Singh Negi is coaching Taekwondo in many renowned schools in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
