Sunny Jacob Tennis Academy was started in 1986 by Capt. Sunny Jacob As a Merchant Navy Captain, he travelled all over the world, and at one point, he decided to give up the marine life to pursue his passion for tennis After getting himself certified as a professional tennis coach from the United States, he relocated to Pune and started the prestigious Sunny Jacob Tennis Academy Since 1984, he has coached more than 5,000 young boys, girls and corporate Over and above tennis, Capt. Sunny Jacob is a keen golfer and also an animal lover, he contributes generously for various animal welfare schemes and has served as the Honorary Secretary for 14 years for Poona Kennel Club (now, Poona Kennel Confederation) and is President, since last 11 years of this oldest Kennel Club.
