Pune Aikikai is the first dojo in the Pune area dedicated to studying the art of Aikido - a modern Japanese martial art with traditional roots. Pune Aikikai is a member of the Aikido Shimboku Kai and through it, is affiliated to the Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo. The instructor is Anoop Chengara Sensei (2nd Dan), a student of Lisa Tomoleoni Sensei, 6th Dan.
