In Budo Academy, a student gets overall education in the art of Goju-ryu karate with the traditional history and origin of karate do. The student is also trained in Kata (forms) & Kumite (combat) with weapons (kobudo) for an all over understanding of the art of karate -do and Kobudo. The students are also trained spiritually to be mentally and physically strong and given a proper understanding of the Self-Defense (aikedo) for the purpose of defending ones self in need and also fight Evil and Eve-teasing. The Budo Academy of Karate -do in Eastern India is affiliated with the International Meibukan Gojyu-ryu Karate -do Association (IMGKA), Japan. Budo Academy KEI is the only Meibukan Goju-ryu centre in Eastern India. The Budo Academy of Karate-do in Eastern India is officially registered under the prestigious WSDO-World Self-Defense Organisation, with its head quarters in Portugal, getting complete permission to teach and practice Self-Defense in all the associate dojos under the guidance of Sensei Samarjit Mullick. He is also registered and permitted as the Zonal State Director of West Bengal The Budo Academy is also an official member of the WORLD BUDO KARATE ASSOCIATION (WBKA). Budo Academy is officially allowed to take part in National and International Events under the guidance and direction of Sensei Samarjit Mullick.
