Panthers Cricket Academy @TurfCity since its inception has been run professionally with the focus on developing talent. Experienced and qualified coaches ensure that the young boys learn the basics thoroughly. Batting, bowling, fielding drills are a constant aspect of coaching at Panthers Cricket Academy (PCA).Regular matches will be played to ensure the boys express their talent, be it batting, bowling, fielding or wicket-keeping. Panthers Cricket Academy (PCA) conducts the popular Tiger Cup under-12 under-14 and under-16 tournaments,which in theselves arecalendar icons for age group cricketers, besides other inter-club/ academy matches. PCA has the advantage of running two league league teams that participate in the KSCA second and fifth division leagues. The verdant greens at the Global Village Tech Park and SEZ sports arena is an inspiring atmosphere for sports buffs.There are eight cricket nets, including two turf wickets, to accommodate at least 100 cricketers at any given time. Besides there is a cricket ground for the boys to play regular matches to develop their temperament, batting, bowling, fielding skills. National Cricket Academy accredited coaches and former international and national cricketers will visit the facility regularly for special coaching and one-on-on bowling/ batting/ fielding sessions. BCCI level three and level two coaches Rajesh Kamath, R Ananth and other reputed experts will be available for special coaching and one-on-one sessions. Among the regular coaches there are Ranji trophy, state junior and under-19 players. Their experience and coaching acument will ensure the boys benefit during their stay in the academy. Regular matches will be played with each trainee getting to play at least 20-30 games. FACILITIES Apart from two turf wickets, there are six synthetic surface practice wickets. The practice area is completely laden with grass to give the boys the feel of playing in turf ground experience. There is a bowling machine which can be used through the day and under lights in the night. Boys could use the rebound machine to hone their batting strokes, be it square cut, drive, sweep, pull and hook shots. It can be used through the day. There is grass-laden ground and synthetic pitch to enable the trainees to hone their skills during practice and competitive matches. There is a spacious pavilion that can accommodate more than 30 players. To ensure the trainees are at comfort, Kent drinking water and clean wash room facilities have been provided. The environs are always spic and span.
