Skylab Cricket Club was formed in the early 1970s by Three Cricketers of Pachaiyappas College and then in the end of 2000 Mr. P Augustus Rajmahender after taking over as Secretary has promoted a Cricket Academy to run on a Non-Commercial motive. It is promoted aiming to provide the best part of cricket coaching to the talented youngsters by professional and dedicated Coaches & Physio. Skylab Cricket Academy & Club (Skylab CAC) registered under the Government of Tamil Nadu SR Act, 1975 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1975) vide registration no.233 of 2011 continues to be an important focal point at Tiruvallur District for cricketing excellence and education.
